Waikoloa Boggie Design

Innova worked with a team of mechanical engineers and fabricators to create a new drive boggie for the new tram vehicles which were provided as part of the Tram Replacement Modernization Project at the Hilton Waikoloa Village in Hawaii. The tram connects the Main Lobby, Convention Center, Ocean Palace, and Lagoon Tower at the resort, and has been in service since 2008. The new boggie serves as a drive axle, differential, and link between the tram cars. All components were designed to exceed a 15-year design service life.
