Background

Mr. Steve Moore, P.E., S.E., brings to the team experience in AASHTO and IBC design and 32 years of experience in the design and maintenance of bridge, building, and other structures. Since joining Innova in 2009, Mr. Moore has been engaged on a number of projects such as the design of seismic restraints, retrofitting buildings into different uses, and condition assessments of existing structures. He has also been involved in the development of structural solutions for projects providing contractors many alternates for a given task. Mr. Moore brings to the team his knowledge in design building codes and local amendments and innovative solutions to construction and serviceability issues.

Mr. Moore came to Innova after 12 years with Martin and Peltyn (currently John A. Martin and Associates (JAMA) of Nevada) where he had the opportunity to work on many building projects in the hospitality, institutional, and educational market. His experience is very diverse, and among his many projects, he has designed multiple pedestrian bridges around the country. He designed the three bridges over the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nev., which made innovative use of vibration dampers to allow the use of shallower, lighter steel girders.
